I am completely new to the Equinox series of detectors and so spent a lot of time on here reading what Steve and others have generously shared over the past year. I cover Platinum, Gold, Silver, Tungsten, Stainless Steel, and Aluminum Rings. Pendants, Earrings, and even go over various different style Pull Tabs. A lot of time was put into this labor o, Balance and weight, Red backlight and keypad backlight, 11" coil ears have been strengthened, flashlight added, vibration feature added, waterproof 10 ft Equinox 800 16 ft Equinox 900, leakage issues fixed, hand grip more comfortable on the 900, arm cuff improved, carbon fiber telescopic shaft, headphone upgrade, 3 more units of sensitivity , The three targets that I had marked with the Legend were also easily hit by the Equinox 900. One turned out to be a 7" deep US clad dime, one was a 6" deep 1957 Wheat penny on edge and one was a 7" deep bent rusty nail (only one of the day). I also only dug one steel crown bottle cap and that was detected with a ton of high tones by the Equinox , Hi everyone, I want make me sure if my program on my Detector is properly set or.. I tryied with settings: field 1, 5 tone, disc -9 to 0, Rs 4 and iron bias 2.
