She is a published poet, and toured full time for many years as singer/songwriter for the critically acclaimed band Ellery; her songs have been in feature films and TV dramas. Golden is also the founder of : a trauma-informed, arts-based health intervention for incarcerated girls that elevates their voices in community and political discourses.
