Hi, everyone. Since last night, WhatsApp Web on Chrome and every other browser I've tried has been using way more CPU than it needs or had previously used. Like, way more. Chrome usually uses around 0-5% depending on what I'm doing. When I opened WhatsApp Web in the last 12 hours, all of a sudden that percentage spikes to around 40-50% and it makes my fans start spinning like crazy. Does , WhatsApp Web will stay connected for 14 days. After that you will need to scan the QR code again to log back in., WhatsApp Desktop App and WhatsApp Web are two different ways to access WhatsApp account on computers. WhatsApp Web is a browser-based client that allows you to use WhatsApp on your computer without downloading or installing any additional software., I'm using WhatsApp web instead and using the feature "Download App" from Chrome which allow me to have the WhatsApp web as an independent window and right now it works better than the official desktop app for Catalina. I fact, now I can use the play pause button for my music which the desktop app seems to damage once is open., Hey all, I'm using the web desktop version of Whatsapp quite a lot, and since yesterday I noticed that I can no longer send people links. I can still do that though the phone if it's really needed, but that's a bit of a hassle., Using the WhatsApp from Microsoft Store, the desktop app, I see the pictures I receive in the app but I can't find anything about their location. On Android I know the app saves all the files we send and receive, this desktop app auto-downloads the files but where? Does anybody know? Because it's not in the browser's download folder since it's not the web version, is not in Downloads folder .
