We've noticed in some recent cache hunts to find a new and quite interesting type of container, one usually used for small caches (i.e. bigger than a micro, but not the size of an ammo box). It's called a "lock and lock" container. It looks like standard tupperware, except that there is a plastic, Saw these pics posted in another thread. I love the idea of custom containers. The fav one I found was a log that was split and made into a container. They used to cost pennies at the old-style hardware stores, but they are all coming pre-packaged now and way , I've occasionally discovered a throwdown (and the original container) while caching, but I hardly ever go looking for archived caches. They are typically at most just broken bits of plastic strewn around., The trick for most containers is the closure mechanism. My so was in a camp a week ago or so that had a 3D printer and he printed off several pieces that about the size of the lower part of a bison, but the sides were about 1/4" thick..
