I have had the MX-4 and loved it in the past. I just purchased the Rough Country Tri-fold. It's $600 less than the MX-4 at the LEAST. I want to try it out and figure I can buy 2 Rough Country's for same price. I use the expression "buy once and cry once" for my hunting gear like binoculars. You normally get what you pay for and well built costs money. We will see if this holds true for tonneaus. The Rough County is simply not heavy duty where the MX-4 can states it can hold 400 lbs on it, the RC is more like 45-50. That being said if you don't need to put weight on top of the cover I think the RC is worth a shot. I will keep you posted after install later this week., Rough Country vs Bakflip MX4 bed cover?
