No cost with thousand trails membership. The place is fine overall - basically just a concrete lot in the middle of the city. Had absolutely no contact with anyone that worked there. They email the assigned site a few days before check in. When we arrived, I went into the office and it was completely dark with no one inside, so we just went to the site. The next day I went into the office again, and same thing, no one there. The place was pretty empty, except some permanent residents and the occasional camper for a few days. Most of the occupied sites seemed like abandoned motorhomes and trailers with FOR SALE signs posted on them (which were in the largest sites the park had). And when I say abandoned, I mean - abandoned. The rigs were extremely dirty with spider webs all over, nothing hooked up, slides in, no vehicles around. It was actually quite annoying because the other sites leftover were quite small. There was a large Solitude parked for about a week, still hooked up to the truck, all slides in, no sewer or electric hooked up, and it was taking up 3-4 spots (parked perpendicularly across the sites, not actually in a site). The worst part was the enormous flying cockroaches in the dog park. The brick walls and tree were crawling with them. One night we counted no less than 8 of them, and they are the size of a silver dollar at least. The dog park is absolutely disgusting due to others not cleaning up after their dogs, smells of urine, dog waste bin overflowing, and extremely muddy at night. , Located in the beautiful Coachella Valley of California, Palm Springs Oasis RV Resort is the perfect vacation destination.
