Yes the story is true. Century imported a lot of Imbel receivers without the desirable Gear Logo of Imbel. Many people see the Century stamp on the receiver and walk away from what is probably the best receiver made for FAL's. Very desirable rifle, if you know what you are looking at and know all the ins and outs of the FAL world. Only thing wrong with it is it says CAI instead of the Imbel , This is the only CAI Yugo that I have ever seen that did not come with the G2 group. However, just to double-check, look at the trigger, it will have "G2" on the side., It is a CAI build, but it appears to be pre 922r days. Side of upper reciever is stamped L1A1 and really tiny "sporter" Cal .308 then beneath that CAI blah blah blah., Anybody have experience with the Arcus 98DA in 9mm? I found it for $299.99 and am kicking around buying it. It would be used solely as a range shooter. I am purchasing it just to have more range time with handguns, also so I can feed cheap corrosive ammo through it as I just discovered berdan-primed ammo is pretty much corrosive. Thanks in advance for any thoughts or suggestions. Reviews: http , (CAI was know to do this instead of putting in the right rollers) google how to check bolt gap if you dont know. i would stay away from the GI PTR's they are the "cheap" ones, and ive seen problems with the fluting and other issues., CAI L1A1 questions By unkn0wn b4st4rd in forum General Replies: 2 Last Post: March 26th, 2007, 09:19 PM.
