The quick turnaround of the store shows it was in the works for quite some time. 3) Mimi at Wendy’s runs the tightest ship on the beach, Wendy’s will always be my first choice..

A bit of trivia, the KFC here was the 1st fast food chain on the Outer Banks. It is what it is, but I love Taco Bell., Taco Bell - it was in KDH not Kitty but closed now Bacu2go - KDH - now Crabby Fries Good Life Gourmet - moved to Kitty Hawk Lodivichie's Italian Restaurant - now the Eagles Club Puma's Pizza - ?? Salty Peter's Shrimp Shack - gone - Food Dudes there now The Island's Eye Restaurant - NH - Now Called South Beach Grill The Trellis Beach Club - NH - ??, 1 Taco Bell Arby's Burger King. Tim-OBX I almost forgot about the Hardee's that used to be in front of the Outer Banks Mall at Nags Head. Mountaineer There was also a Hardee's in Manteo where T.L's is now., As a local, I go from Taco Bell, yes the Bell, to LaFogata to Plaza Azteca and places in between. However, having been to Mexico many times what we need is more than Tacos, Burritos, etc. Don't know if would survive but how about fresh Fish, Steak, Pork, Chicken cooked with Mexican recipes., Or turn into the WaWa for a good price on gas and decent food, or stop at Zaxby's, Wendy's, or Taco Bell just before the WaWa. OR Take the first Hillcrest Parkway exit off the Expressway for Cracker Barrel, Arby's Buffalo Wild Wings, or Chick-fil-A, and stop at the Target if you've forgotten anything., Yah, go with the Hilton. It's 20 miles closer. Walmart, ABC store, Giant, Harris Teeter, Wendy's, soon to be Taco Bell all right down the street. Run Down Cafe's poke appetizer is super!!! 5 miles to Duck, all the KDH/NH stuff within reach. Maybe it should be renamed the OBX Command Center!.
