I chose Drs. Esposito & Saccaro because I heard great things about Staten Island Braces™ from other mothers in my neighborhood. I originally had a consult with another orthodontist after I saw an attractive ad in the local paper. What immediately turned me off was that I wasn't allowed to go into the treatment room with my son. There was a door blocking the waiting room into the treatment rooms. When I asked the receptionist "Why I couldn't go back with my son", she responded "that is our office policy" and very rudely closed the door in my face. Needless to say, I decided not to continue with the treatment and would never return there. Staten Island Braces™ is a totally different atmosphere. Parents are always allowed back with their child, they are welcomed and invited to be there. Wow what a difference. My child was once dental phobic. But not anymore. He actually enjoys going to the orthodontist as well as the dentist now.
