Although it was rainy and cloudy, I was happy with black cardamom latte and a delicious sandwich. Once again, I would like to express my sincere gratitude to the friendly staff. 👍Christian C — Google reviewBlue Bottle is one of my all-time favorite coffee chains. This is the only location in Orange County but it’s a great one. It has views of the harbor iced latte is my favorite because it’s made with large ice cubes so it doesn’t melt down quick.Suzanne W — Google reviewCoffee was great. One of the best coffees in socal that I’ve tried. My dad is a very tough critic regarding coffee and to my surprise loved the coffee and even bought a bag of their coffee beans to take home. Service was good. Only downside is that this is a workspace and only some community tables belonged to the coffee shop, to sit inside you will need to pay $4 per person which is bizarre to me, on top of the pricey coffee itself. I payed around 26 dollars not including tip for 3 small lattes and a cookie. Other than that a great experience which I would recommend to try at least once. Beautiful views of lido.Liyan S — Google reviewAmazing coffee here and seating is outside. I recommend the cookie and the waffles sometimes they’ll run out at the end of the day. I ordered a simple latte and my friend order a seasonal black cardamom latte one which was so good. Parking may be hard to come by but there’s a large parking lot next to the marine storeK. The cafe is known for its eccentric and Instagram-worthy atmosphere, featuring pretty pink tones and eye-catching neon signage. The signature cafe menu offers specialty drinks with unexpected ingredients that add an adventurous twist to the usual coffee experience. It’s an intimate and cozy cafe. The coffee & food were delish. Loved the menu and naming conventions. As a Canadian, I loved the vibe and how the offerings are up to date and cater towards your clientele. Will be back on my next tripRebecca D — Google reviewI’m a fan of their iced Goldie, and I usually add an extra double shot because I’m crazy. It’s not overly sweet, and the coffee is strong but not too bitter or acidic. I tried it once with their cold foam, but I wasn’t impressed. Some coffee shops just don’t have great foams, and I unfortunately would say this is one of them. It’s too liquidy and doesn’t have a lot of flavor, so I would say that if I had one criticism, it would be to go back to the drawing board on that recipe. The coffee is great, though, so sometimes I’ll bring it home and just make my own foam to go on top. Delicious!Elle — Google reviewIt's always been intimate as to why there are such long lines here. Yeah, it's a good place. Delicious sandwiches and great coffee. Recommend.Denny B — Google reviewWent this morning for coffee as I was looking for some legit craft coffee while in town. To my disappointment, they only had drip house blend. I just got to the bottom of my cup of coffee only to find coffee grounds. You can’t be called “Coffee” Dose and not be able to do a simple drip cup of….coffee, right?Nate W — Google reviewSuch a cute unique coffee shop I love their merch and quirky decor. It’s a great place to dine in. Their seasonal peppermint cold foam latte is to die for and their food is so good. Great gluten free options!Lily F — Google reviewQuite the unique spot! Party vibes on Christmas Eve, food was good and unique.Bernard J — Google reviewUsed to be one of my fav matchas! This time I paid $1.5 extra matcha which is a semi new option and it was the same pale color as the ticket next to it on the counter which did not list add a scoop of matcha on the ticket. mentioned it to the barista, and they said it was because it was whole milk but the ticket on the other also said whole milk. Had to take to home to mix in more matcha at home which ended being the same as making my own matcha at home since I basically just brought home a $7.50 cup of milk. Usually not one to do bad reviews but I just wished this matcha would have been enjoyable like my past ones I have gotten here. Now I think I rather go to Starbucks for matcha and that says a lot 💔Maddie — Google reviewThis is the cutest coffee shop I’ve ever seen. It’s really hard to not be in a good mood when you walk in. I love the menu item descriptions and tried the detox latte with charcoal and espresso and was surprised with how good it tasted. During my second visit, I tried one of their sandwiches and it was absolutely delicious. Their crack sauce is too good. I appreciate all the vegetarian options on the menu. I was so excited that they even have a bar and a drink menu. The champagne and chill drink was gorgeous, tasted delicious, and they used a nice selection of champagne. I also tried to latte with espresso and turmeric, which was great. All the staff are super friendly too and the music they play is perfect for the vibe.NB — Google review2675 Irvine Ave suite e, Costa Mesa, CA 92627, USA•••Tips and more reviews for Coffee Dose14Freelance Coffee ProjectSave4.6(105)•Mentioned on $$$$affordableCafeBakeryCoffee roastersShow 4 moreLocated in Newport Beach, Freelance Coffee Project is a popular choice among creative individuals.
