I too can send email OK, but cannot receive. This is true whether I use IMAP (imap.aol.com) or POP (either pop.aol.com, or pop.verizon.net). This works fine on other devices - my old PC (Windows 7, with Windows Live Mail), as well as on an iPhone and an Android phone. These are all set up as POP3 with verizon.pop.net., Weird Outlook 365 email settings -- Can't change or repair them I am a Verizon Fios user. Some time ago, Verizon switched all its users to Aol mail and specified certain settings for the incoming and outgoing servers (Incoming server -- pop.verizon.net and Outgoing server -- smtp.verizon.net) ., Windows Live Mail can't download e-mails since the 9h of August 2020 automatic update. I tried resetting the e-mail account, called my host provider (they don't know what it can be, my e-mail account is ok, I can view my e-mails on-line) then I tried to r, anyway to fix this keeps popping up tried to uninstall and reinstall but still pops up, I tried setting up the account on my Outlook 2010 which is what I use for all other email, but couldn't do that either - so maybe it is a Verizon problem & not Windows 10 but I doubt it because Windows 10 has messed up just about everything else that has gone wrong. Any advice would be appreciated., AOL has merged with Yahoo now both belong to Oath. My rarely used AOL mail however is working OK with IMAP on Thunderbird so must be just Verizon related. All AOL based Email, that's AOL, AOLUK, Aim, Compuserve, Netscape and Verizon now goes through mx-aol.mail.gm0.yahoodns.net: Which is probably why it keeps throwing up the Yahoo stuff?.
