His extensive experience in the hospitality industry includes key roles at top-tier hotels like DoubleTree Plaza and Marriott City Center, where he worked as Director of Food & Beverage and Corporate Executive Chef, respectively. Donato also brought his expertise to Capital Grille in downtown Pittsburgh, where he was not only Executive Chef but also served as Partner, R&D Chef, and Strategy Planning Chef. From 2010 to 2018, he owned and operated Donato’s Restaurant in Fox Chapel, gaining valuable insights as a business owner. Outside work, Donato enjoys quality time with his two daughters, exploring the wilderness, exercising, and cooking for private events and local charities. He has a passion for serving high-profile clients, and when he's not working, you might find him on trips to Kentucky, West Virginia, South Carolina, or Buffalo. He enjoys a fine bourbon and values time with friends and family.
