Donato joins us from the Joinery Hotel Pittsburgh, where he served as General Manager and Director of Operations since 2018. His extensive experience in the hospitality industry includes key roles at top-tier hotels like DoubleTree Plaza and Marriott City Center, where he worked as Director of Food & Beverage and Corporate Executive Chef, respectively. Donato also brought his expertise to Capital Grille in downtown Pittsburgh, where he was not only Executive Chef but also served as Partner, R&D Chef, and Strategy Planning Chef. From 2010 to 2018, he owned and operated Donato’s Restaurant in Fox Chapel, gaining valuable insights as a business owner. Outside work, Donato enjoys quality time with his two daughters, exploring the wilderness, exercising, and cooking for private events and local charities. He has a passion for serving high-profile clients, and when he's not working, you might find him on trips to Kentucky, West Virginia, South Carolina, or Buffalo.
