As a Cornell University Student Ambassador (CUDAA, CALS Ambassador, and BRAM), I support prospective and incoming students by providing guidance and insights about applying to College, specifically, The participating students were Amiri Archibald, Blake Ansari, Ethan Fertil, and Sunay Chawla, all part of the organization’s Youth Responsive Giving Circle. “Our students are the youngest responsive philanthropists globally investing in Black lives and they deserve recognition” said Dr. Starita Boyce Ansari, founder and EduTech Innovator , Blake Ansari is only eight years old, but he’s already begun working to make the lives of homeless children better by making books available to them. His “Blake Mini Library” initiative, begun in 2014 when he was just six, donates rainbow colored libraries and books to children in foster care homes and runaway and homeless shelters., Blake began collecting books and gathered 600 volumes, which he donated to a PATH (Prevention, Assistance, and Temporary Housing) shelter in the Bronx. Counselors at PATH plan to give the books to homeless children who come to stay there, and the kids will be able to keep the books., Six-year old philanthropist Blake Ansari is a young leader wise beyond his years. After reading about Dasani, and her life as a homeless child in the New York Times, the elementary school student decided he wanted to start a book drive., Students of The New 3Rs, including Blake Mini Library founder Blake Ansari, plan to participate by viewing the film. The students will select a racial inequity issue from The New 3Rs curriculum and envision how they or their nation can become a more perfect union in areas such as education, health, environment, and other topics of concern?.
