Yes please! We are supposed to drive down to visit my in-laws the day after Xmas. It’s a 6+ hour drive normally, so I’m guessing with a 2 month old it will take more like 8+ if we’re lucky. But, multiple in-law family units will all be at MIL/FIL’s house so we thought that was the best opportunity to see everyone. Only MIL and FIL have met our baby. So i was still anxious about the drive, but it seemed worth it to see everyone all at once. Even though we also have to pay for a hotel since there isn’t room at the house. And bonus! SIL and her husband, who live across the country, decided to fly out as well since everyone else would be in one place.Except we just now found out that one family unit has changed their plans, and in doing so has created a domino effect so that most of the family will no longer be there. But of course WE are still expected to show since SIL booked a flight (which I do understand sucks, but also, we aren’t the ones who caused this!)I am so pissed.
