FSi Engineers is proud to be one of the first 50 signatories of the MEP 2040 Commitment. We acknowledge that climate change is an urgent and authentic global issue, and that MEP engineers can make significant contributions to the drive toward a zero carbon future. As a part of this commitment, FSi has developed the first steps of a plan to make our projects net zero in operational carbon by 2030, and net zero of embodied carbon by 2040. We recognize that this ambitious goal requires our teams and suppliers to change the way we do business, and to keep up with the most current, green technology. As a result, our plan is a living document and we embrace the changes and improvements that will come as new ideas and equipment become available. We will be sharing more about our approaches in the coming year. Meanwhile, we invite our AEC colleagues to join us on this journey by becoming signatories or supporting organizations, and by implementing their own plans., Michael is a mechanical designer and energy manager with 19 years of experience.
