I was surprised the other day with notification that my Godaddy domain (e.g. privatedomain.com) was being migrated to Office365. This in and of itself is not really a problem other than the fact that my email addresses (actual account + alias) that were hosted by GoDaddy already existed as Microsoft accounts (both of them). So now I'm in a strange state of apparently having multiple accounts in the Microsoft system for my privatedomain.com accounts and I cannot create a consistent experience. Outlook is properly receiving my email, but the web version of Outlook does not see any email (as I believe it is logging into the previously existing account on Microsoft's site). I cannot change my reply to default address to ******@privatedomain.com (which is actually an alias of ******@privatedomain.com) because I do not have the same controls under Outlook account management as I normally have. I have a bunch of OneDrive content under the existing Microsoft account ******@privatedomain.com (which is also my Windows account), but now with the GoDaddy migration, my machine/outlook want to login to ******@privatedomain.com - but there would be nothing in that OneDrive., My godaddy private domain account was migrated to Office 365, but I already had an office 365 account with that email address. Help! Myself and GoDaddy reps have verified CNAME fields. Am I missing something? Is it because my 365 account was established today and on a 30 day trial? Thanks..
