Less scary on hard because I kept bumping into the alien around every corner. Fear requires tension and tension doesn't build if you're seeing the monster every 30 seconds.If you think the game is too scary you need to remember it's just a video game. Play it on normal and expect that you'll die a few times. It's a horror game, that's how it's supposed to go. Wouldn't be any fun if you didn't die.Just remember that dying sometimes is better than wasting all your ammo, as there isn't much ammo in the game. Use the flame-thrower only when necessary, all it takes is a little burst to repel the alien. If you die sometimes, no big deal.A horror video game like this is so much better than a horror movie. This alien game is one of the best horror video games ever made. Also, if you like tense games, try the FPS multi-player Hunt: Showdown. Best gameplay ever.
