Daryl Gold Coast, Queensland , I've seen many papayas, beautiful, large bunches of bananas, Lychee, Tamarind, Longan, Wax Jambu (Syzygium samarangense) and even some Jack fruit trees close to my neighborhood here by San Diego State University., After growing in ground for over 10 years, my Delonix regia has finally put out a flower (with hopefully more to come before we cool off in November). Dormant atm, but otherwise fine.. Cassia fistula could use more water / digging out the Bermuda below, out to the drip line of the trees for sure though.., Very cold sensitive tropical items like Coconuts,Banyans,Gumbo Limbos,Mangoes,Royal Poicianna,Mahogany,Sapodilla,Tamarind and even Papayas made it through unscathed..
