I think the hate for Kevin and Q is a bit over the top. I think the Fix is actually a great little rifle. I got one and love it. I have 4 of them now (6.5, 308, 556 and 8.6). They are light, accurate and I love the mags. The kickstand and q-sert are great. I prefer Q-sert to MLok. I don't know whatever Kevin's history is, but I see everyone dog pile whenever his name comes up. All I can say is that I love my Fix's and my experience with their accessories has been great too. If you wanna follow the internet hate, so be it, but if you buy a Fix like I did and try it for yourself, I think you'll start to wonder what all the hate is about. I have no affiliation with Q, so I don't give a rip either way, I just am saddened to see a great gun dog piled by the internet.Does anyone complaining in this thread thing 338 ARC is better than 8.6? if so, what do you like better? Its coolbut Kevin has some thoughts we think you should hear., I just went through this with 22 arc. I figured I would just shoot factory ammo and so I might as well use an off the shelf rifle, but I really regret it and will be building one soon..
What I find funny is that the 338 Spectre has been around for like 12 years or more and he has never posted a video shitting on it. It’s only now that a major company develops a product that has the potential to take customers away from his company that he post something like this., I have a couple of different .223 Uppers that I rarely shoot, so I'm thinking of rebarreling one of them to .338 ARC. I'm mainly interested in shooting subsonic, so I'm not sure if I'll go with a 10.5" barrel or a 16" barrel., There are millions of AR-15 semi-auto rifles in the market, those are potential upgrades to 338 ARC. For those looking for good bolt action to start with, Howa and Ruger both make a mini-action bolt that are reasonably priced, pretty accurate from what most say, and can be easily acquired., Personally, I’m looking forward to the .338 ARC. I am interested to see what Aero Precision and Noveske offer. I have been underwhelmed with a SBR .300 AAC and hope the .338 ARC is a better mousetrap for hunting, suppressed. I have a 36M that’s needing a partner so this makes sense for me., The 338 ARC is an extremely specialized cartridge designed to fix what is wrong with current subsonic offerings. Read on to see if this new cartridge would be a waste of your money, or the perfect solution to what's missing in your rifle bag., I don't really think the .338 ARC will serve my needs any better than those, but it might make an interesting short upper for my SBR if there are bullet options available..
