The most recent update of the HealthHIV HIV Prevention Certified Provider Certification Program was released on April 2, 2025 and will expire on April 2, 2026. There are a few key updates to be aware of:Pharmacists now are eligible to receive the HIVPCPRX certification!Pharmacists who complete the seven core modules of the HealthHIV’s HIVPCP Certification Program along with this newly released Pharmacy-Based HIV Prevention and PrEP module can earn the HIVPCPRX specialty certification. The HIVPCPRX certification demonstrates knowledge of strategies for HIV prevention counseling, PrEP eligibility screening and adherence support, and the evolving policy landscape of implementing pharmacy-based HIV prevention and collaborative practice models.For those certified in the previous year (between April 1, 2024 and April 1, 2025), you may complete Module 7 to fulfill the updated knowledge gap requirement to maintain your HIVPCP certification. Then visit Final Certificate and Toolkit to receive your final certificate.The updated HIVPCP certification program consists of 8 modules. Each module takes approximately 40-60 minutes to complete.Each module is equivalent to 1.0 credit/contact hour (CME, MOC, NCPD, CPE, AAPA, ASWB).
