I have eczema on the bottom of my feet and feel every little stone I step on. Absolutely horrible. Being a diabetic I need to take extra care of my feet, especially being on them all day. These provided no comfort whatsoever. I also purchased 2 pair of barefoot sneakers, with a wide toe box when I purchased Hikes 2 pair. I wish I didn't need support in the ankles for hiking so that I could wear my Hike Footwear everywhere. I get a lot of compliments about the style. Wore one pair for the day and they were tight and I was uncomfortable all day. 2 days later I got gout, and the doctor said the tight sneakers contributed adversely to the gout. I have e-mailed 2 times about this and nothing but if I ship them back. at my expense I'll only receive 30% of what I paid. This sounds like a scam to me. I have a legitiment complaint about the sizing and haven't received any response, since June 20th from Emily saying she'd get back to me! Bad customer service!!!Date of experience: May 09, 2025SO11 hours agoVerifiedI've ordered different styles of shoes from Hike several times over a couple of years. The shoes are amazing overall! However, when I re-ordered the same style/size months after the first order, the shoes in the 2nd shipment were all SMALLER than the first (even though tagged the same size). Unfortunately I missed my return window, so am wearing them, but they're uncomfortable after an hour or so and starting to rip where the solid toe meets the fabric (because they're too short). Also, the insoles wear out really fast, which is unfortunate because I wear these shoes almost exclusively at this point. I want to order more, but am nervous about the inconsistent sizing. If I size up and they're too big, that's also a problem.Date of experience: April 30, 202511 hours agoMy shoes were returned to the sender. Because they weren’t sent to California, Hike will not return my money.The postal tracking states that they did receive them. This is my 3 rd review. Each time they apologize and say they are working on it. It was June 30 th.Still no refund but they told me that I could have 30% off another pair. They were returned to you on June 30, 2025 after much hassle getting a return label for shipping purposes. I still have not received a credit back from you on my credit card statement as of today (7-8-25). I will be disputing this with my credit card account unless this gets resolved. Terrible Customer Service. You made offers for me to keep my shoes instead of keeping your money back guarantee. My coworker told me about these so I tried them. This has been a wonderful experience. I can continue to do the things I need to do comfortably.
