ADS-B Flight Tracking Using FlightAware with ADS-B feeders, software, hardware, and more. PiAware , I just got a great deal on an open box Raspberry 5 so if I want to install FlightAware on it the best way is to run the scripts from GitHub - abcd567a/piaware-ubuntu-debian-amd64 ? I have the dongle, coax and antenna already., The white line is an estimated track while the aircraft was out of range of terrestrial ADS-B coverage. If you look at the track log, you will notice a “gap in available data” between approx 1450Z and 1750Z - this is the part of the track that corresponds to the white line. jwalaad October 23, 2019, 9:59pm 3, When FlightAware shows the flown path of a plane, is that based on ADS-B data or based on something filed by pilots after landing? I am asking regarding flights that would go over an area with no ADS-B coverage., I see the green line (the actual flight path), but I’m not sure what the dashed pink(?) line means?, For a particular flight the flight path is shown predominately as white but some sections of the flight are shown in green. What does the green mean? See SIA308 13-AUG-2014.
